Application Period Has Ended
If you are interested in training for a career in manufacturing we have good news…and better and even best news.
Good News - although the Accelerated Training for Illinois Manufacturing project is no longer accepting applications, many of the ATIM services are now available under the new Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program – at no cost to you.
Better News – as an experimental innovation project, ATIM required eligible applicants be randomly assigned to treatment and control groups so the impact of the project could be measured.
There is no random assignment for WIOA services, so practically everyone that is eligible is admitted.
The BEST News – ATIM services were limited to five regional partnerships, but WIOA services are available statewide.
Feel free to browse this website to explore just a few of the key manufacturing occupations for which businesses across Illinois need skilled workers.
Find out more information and see if you are eligible for WIOA at your local Illinois workNet Center.
Find the Center nearest you with the Illinois workNet Service Finder. Search by City or ZIP Code and select a location under the "Illinois workNet Center(s)" tab.
