Qualifying for ATIM

Application Period Has Ended

General Eligibility Requirements - Adult and Dislocated Worker*:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Compliance with Military Selective Service Requirements
  • Meet low-income guidelines (of the Workforce Investment Act)
  • Received a layoff notice or currently laid off of work (dislocated worker only)

This program is part of a study designed to learn about how the program makes a difference in helping people get employment in the manufacturing industry. Enrollment is not guaranteed.

*Individuals enrolled in a WIA program are not eligible to participate in the ATIM program.

Additional ATIM Participation Requirements:
You must pass a drug test and otherwise be suitable for training and permanent employment in manufacturing.  You may also be required to pass a background check.  Your ATIM Case Manager will give you the details on qualifying for the program.
